Big 8 Corporate Hotel is a minute’s walk to the Tagum Fiesta Appliance Centre. New Christ the King Cathedral is a 2-minute drive away. It takes approximately 45 minutes to travel from Davao International Airport by car.

The room we were in level 7, was very noisy, there’s a band every night from wed till Monday, very disappointed would not recommend to anyone..:((

Location.

There's cold shower in two days and the hose from the bidet leaks. Wifi didn't work in the first floor so we were asked to transfer room. Breakfast was very ordinary. This hotel is over priced. The staff are not friendly especially the female.

Staff was super friendly, even amid multiple problems they were apologetic and helpful. Good looking lobby, bed was nice. Right in the middle of several malls and near transportation to take you to either the city or country.

Wifi was extremely poor everywhere. Water came out black from sink & tub. Some electrical panels & switches, bath fan and bathtub agitator didn't work. There's no real place to stash clothes,(you'll be placing your luggage on the table and getting clothes from there)... And dirty windows. Had to call for repairs twice because the sink and shower didn't work!

I stayed here in 2015 and it was an amazing hotel. Since then, I’ve come back 2018 and its not as great as I remember. The bathrooms are a little worn now And not as clean. Still the best hotel in Tagum.

room service was great. I like the fluffiness of the bed and the 3 pillows were great. comfort room was great only the water sometimes does not smell good although they have made some sticker notes for the filtration system. the lobby designs were great Victorian and majestic.

the front desk staff was not at all fair in dealing with us. I don't know if the information desk was looking at our clothes (travel clothes) and cast us as a nobody important and much more when we presented our Booking.com printed out reservation. He let us wait and wait and entertain more people. we patiently waited and when nobody was around we came again and still was made to wait. Good thing the manager (we think) entertained us. And when he knew that we are part of the PAMET participants, we were given a VIP treatment. Should we be in party clothes to be entertained immediately at the counter and be given our room?, or tell everyone that we are a VIP to be given VIP treatment? that was a nasty treatment we got from the front desk staff. Even five-star hotels never do that but this 3-star hotel staff did a mean thing.

My husband and I liked the staffs, they are all nice and respectful.

We did not like the smell of the water that runs from the little pipe ( connected from the toilet)

What was the highlight of Big 8 Corporate Hotel

Location. It was on the main road and close to where we had to be for dinner.

We booked via booking.com for P3175 and we were asked to pay P4000 during check in. (I found out that I paid too much only after I left Tagum. There was a problem with their credit card machine that got me distracted during check in.) It was a filthy hotel. The rooms were small and badly insulated. We took a nightcap at their rooftop bar. Their common powder room wouldn't close, and it was dirty and stank. I will never go back. Never recommending this hotel to anyone.

Prijs veel te hoog in verhouding tot de kwaliteit. Bij vertrek werd er een eindcontrole van de kamer gedaan. Nog nooit meegemaakt!!! Veel lawaai op de gang en de kamer er naast Bijna allés te horen. Ronduit slecht

There are karaoke rooms downstairs. Staff at breakfast friendly and goes all out to assist. Roof top bar. Room is spacious.

This hotel is like a Budget Hotel. You have to pay P150 per day for an adapter to connect my Singapore power plug to the wall socket. Gosh, you can buy a few and keep with you with P150. Luckily I don't need anything else. 24 hours Operator not working after 1am till 3am on 9th Feb... Even tried calling the Reception with no one answering... in the end, I have to go down to the reception myself to see 2 ladies at the reception doing some paperwork... They promised to call me back after confirming if I could extend my room stay for another day but did not. The rooms are aged.... it's way due for a renovation. Water runs out from shower room and there isn't any place to put your toiletries while you shower. There isn't a ledge to place your shower hose. And the rain shower above your head is spraying everywhere so there's no way not to wash your hair.

I love the location of the hotel as i t is convenient to everywhere. I love how they give complimentary buffet breakfast. Awesome Adobo!!.

I hate the aircondition in my room it took ages to cool the whole room. I hate the smell of the room specially the toilet even after it was cleaned. The hair dryer in my room wasn't working at all. The window glass was very filthy as well as in one of the suite rooms.
